Manaus is located in the center of the area north-west of Brazil, a place that is perfect for guests with a tour of the Amazon region, has interested if there along the river or in the rain forest. This is the most populous city in the Amazon with more than 2 million people. Life of the entire population of the Amazon, 50% in the metropolitan region of Manaus.

Location of the city on the Amazon granted him a certain importance in the history of Brazil and South America. Manaus was founded in 1669 and for many years was that it was simply built as a Portuguese fort, to guard against attacks by the Dutch in the north. In the 18th Century it was also by missionaries who settled evangelize the native neighbors sought. This was the status quo in the colonial period, while the Spanish, French, Portuguese and other European groups were used for the positioning or control over the region.

In the late 19th Century, industrialization in general and automobile manufacturing, in particular, requires the use of rubber in the Amazon to satisfy increased demand on the production of a rubber boom, which boosted the fortunes of Manaus. Those who benefited most from this business spending, the rubber barons who built opulent mansions and millions in public buildings such as churches and opera houses.

These buildings were built in the style of Art Nouveau and neoclassical architecture built popular at the turn of the century, and many of them imitated buildings in Europe, borders on the clairvoyant. The most famous example is the Teatro Amazonas, the opera, which is still the pride of Manaus. Visitors to Manaus have the opportunity to attend the opera and performances of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Amazon.

Other buildings were built during this period, the urban market Adopho Lisboa, which is a replica of Les Halles in Paris, the customs house, which was built of stone blocks imported from England, and the elegant palace of justice. The new wealth of Manaus also made further improvements to the city, including electricity, sewer, water, transportation and light rail.

Sustained demand for rubber production maintained Manaus and other cities of the Amazon – Iquitos, Peru, was too rich from the boom – floating high for several years. However, the winds of wealth in the 1900s changed when rubber seeds out where the Amazon smuggled and planted in Southeast Asia, which ultimately led to the rapid impoverishment of the city. The streets of Manaus were plunged into darkness while the city could no longer afford to the generators that produce electricity to run their street lighting.

In the 1950s, the fortunes of Manaus turn again, when it became a duty-free zone. For the remainder of the 20 Century, this change resulted in the migration to Manaus from other regions of Brazil and in some areas of the city, which disorganized settlement. Today’s economy is mainly dependent on industrial production – which includes brewing, shipbuilding, soap manufacturing, chemicals, petroleum refining and the manufacture of mobile phones. Ecotourism is also focusing increasingly important in the local economy, with hotels and other attractions in the center. The port of Manaus is most important transportation hub for the whole of the upper Amazon basin.

Wanders through the photos of a fashion magazine, Vogue, Cosmo, Marie Claire, Glamour, or, and you will see – dynamic, colorful and modern. No, we’re not talking about the last line of Coach handbags and jewelry Betsey Johnson. We talk about Brazil’s heels, the latest craze in the fashion brand shoes women, a trend that transcends age and economic stature.

For years, fashion shoes always by European designers, including Italy and Spain have been inspired. And in many ways, Italian designer shoes are still the gold standard. But if Italy and Spain have missed this target in the production of conservative, classic style of Brazil has prospered – to take risks.

You can bold shoes in a variety of Brazilian styles, even find outrageous – leopard print, Snake, shimmering fabrics, chic black leather and gold metal. These shoes from flats to moderate, two-inch peep-toe shoes, cheetah print four inch stilettos, and answer all of business casual days at the ultra-glam at night.

Combine ultra-skinny jeans with a black sequined top and oversized black blazer (for the day), black flats, silver and metal jewelry. Combine a summer dress summer Foral, with classic red peep-toe heels or pumps and vintage cat-eye sunglasses. Bring a mini leather skirt with a silk blouse and black leather high-heeled stilettos.

A major reason for Brazilian Footwear has become so popular, apart from style, this is because these shoes are well made. Made with real, genuine leather and high-end, durable fabric, wearing these shoes provide a lot of mileage, so that they worn every day, or late in the night on the town with no real problems.

Another reason Brazilian Footwear has become so popular, because of the cost. In order to compete with European styles, Brazilian shoe designers offer their shoes for a lot less money. For example, you can buy a pair of high heels by Italian designers for $ 295 at Sears or Macy. Here you will find a pair of heels, like Brazil, with the same even better quality, and pay only $ 150. Who would not want to pay half the cost of the same quality product?

You may not be in a position, these shoes at Macy’s or Nordstrom to find. They did not know what kind of popularity … yet. But many shops and independent shoe stores start to Brazilian designers like Morena Rosa Luz da Lua offer. Moreover, thanks to the Internet, you can order these kind of shoes in shoe stores that have taken the online trend wave.

By ordering online, you will not be able to try the shoes, but often find them much cheaper than brick and mortar locations. Online retailers tend to be very flexible to work with in terms of performance, but it is important to check the return policies of online stores before ordering, just to avoid headaches. In this scenario, it can allow you to order one or two pairs of shoes the same in different sizes, just to see what works best. If you are not happy either, you can return both, without hassle. This way you can get what you really want.
